Vintage Poster – Beaver Fever

I was browsing online this weekend and Emily A Clark featured a website that offers free Hi Res Vintage Posters. Yeah, you read it right!  Free!  I downloaded a couple cuz I’m thinking about re-jigging one of my gallery walls soon. You should check this out!  I think this ca 1918 WWI propaganda poster one is my fave so far…

It was cool to see this on a vintage poster site, but I wouldn’t be a very good historian if I didn’t also point you to a huge stash of Wartime poster art (including this one) available in the National Archives of Canada. Check here  although I must admit downloading a Hi Resolution pic is easier than traveling to Ottawa and digging through dusty boxes. It depends what you’re into I guess :)   Can you guess which way I lean?
