Challenge
The busy family that rules this kitchen came full circle from a dark dated kitchen…to a white and marble fantasy and ultimately worked out a solid wood kitchen that is modern, functional and oh so bright and welcoming!! Solid wood = Solid Gold!
Solutions
The solid Alder cabinets are from Pacific Rim Cabinets. I helped my clients keep it bright and functional with extra large white subway tiles in a modern matte finish paired with gorgeous black quartz counters that will take a beating. We designed a cabinet around the fridge to score a few more inches of storage, and got rid of the peninsula. Budget friendly vinyl flooring helped to keep the budget on track.
Results
Keeping it clean and fresh with just wood, white and black really helps an otherwise traditional door front to look clean and modern.
