Twins Room – Double Take
Here’s some pics from an install this weekend for twins. These 4 year old cuties didn’t really see the need for their bedroom to change, and on reveal day I heard one of them say, as the family walked with anticipation up the stairs to see the results, …”I hope it looks the same.” LOL Soo funny! This project was a total renovation which I will share later. This pretty space used to be an open loft at the top of the stairs which we enclosed and blew out a wall to make the whole room larger and include the play area with larger closets. Lucky Girls!
As usual, I love sourcing great deals and quality pieces from Used Victoria. This french provincial dresser was a find, and the mirror was the clients, I chalk painted and waxed it.
I used some etsy art from a Canadian photographer Raceytay
Their beds and bedding are identical. Eliza Beds from Pottery Barn Kids and Duvet Covers, Restoration Hardware. I custom made the throw pillows for them.
This desk is a favourite place for them to colour and I’m told epic battles between the Frozen Characters and My Little Pony minis have also been witnessed.
I covered these stools in a pale blue velvet piped with mint green.
This soft shag rug in the play area get’s lots of use and the pretty glass drop light fixtures add a little princess glam to their room.
